Freelance Senior Generalist for Episodic
1920 is a boutique VFX studio with offices in London and Bristol and we are looking for a Senior CG Generalist to join their team for a 1-month contract on an episodic project in July. The role is hybrid, requiring a mix of remote and on-site work.
Key Responsibilities:
Asset build in Maya: Modelling and texturing high-quality assets suitable for episodic workflows
Look development: Collaborate with the creative team to achieve the desired visual style
Lighting in Solaris using Karma: Set up and render final shots in a USD-based pipeline
Requirements:
Proven experience in CG Generalist roles for TV or film
Strong skills in Maya asset build and lighting in Solaris/Karma
Solid understanding of lookdev, shading, and rendering
Familiarity with Houdini-based pipelines
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Must be able to work on-site in London or Bristol as needed
